Super Tuesday
Jayne returns from 4 days of insurance classes...and I had to give a little shout out to 2 movies finally out on DVD...
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
I know I've already talked about this movie a lot in the lodge (Like here), but now it's finally on DVD, so you can all finally see what the hell I'm talking about. I know I made Serenity my #1 movie of 2005...but if I hadn't been biased, it would have been this flick with a bullet. I can not stress how much the lodge needs to see this movie. It's really, really good stuff. I've already screened it for 10 or 11 people and they all went cukoo for cocoa puffs for it.
Cemetary Man
One of my very first Lodge posts was about this movie(you can read it here)...sadly it wasn't out on DVD and the VHS was long out of print, so there was no way to see it. Well, Anchor Bay finally released the flick...and it is now available for your viewing pleasure.
There's a reason this has become a cult classic. It starts off as a borderline-horror comedy, but by the end it's turned into a surreal mind-f**k .
In a nutshell...EVERYONE needs to see Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and anyone looking for the type of horror film you'd never EVER see get made in the U.S needs to check out Cemetary Man

These look super duper cool - netflixed. Especially the Cemetary Man. Its been a while since I've checked up on horror - screwed movies. I might be going to the SIFF sunday showing of Starfish Hotel, its supposed to be based on some Haruki Murakami stuff.
I've heard about Cemetary Man and I've now put in in my Queue. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang I have at home already, planning on watching it this weekend. Kick back with some popcorn and watch some Kilmer.
